Approval from your healthcare
provider is required for class participation if you are
less than six months postpartum. |

Most sturdy baby strollers
will work, however, umbrella strollers are not recommended. |

Water bottles are required
for class; water fountains will be available en route
for refills. |

A towel for ground exercises. |

Comfortable workout clothes

slip-ons, or fashionable sneakers are not recommended).

Does Your Child Need for Class? |

A stroller, hat, sun block,
snacks, toys, diapers, blanket. |
What Can I Expect?
Arrive 15 minutes before class begins to insure you are ready
to go. Your coach will greet
participants and make introductions and announcements.
Class will begin on time with a 5-10 minute
warm-up followed by the day’s workout goal. Class will
then depart on the set route.
How Old Does
My Baby Have to Be?
We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 6 weeks of
age to begin class. Your
child can take class at any age as long as he or she still
enjoys a ride in the stroller. Double strollers are welcomed.
Who Teaches the
Class?
Each coach is certified in the field of perinatal fitness,
infant/adult CPR, and is professionally trained. They also
hold personal training certifications, which will guarantee
that every minute of your workout is valuable.
Where is the
Class Held?
The meeting point all classes is at
Oz Park in Lincoln Park in front of the Scarecrow sculpture
(northeast corner of park at Webster Street and Larrabee Street).

Is Parking Available?
There is street parking along all of the streets that
line Oz Park; Webster, Dickens, and Larrabee Street. Metered
parking is also an option along Halsted Street between Dickens
and Webster.
What if the Weather
is Bad —
How Will I Know if Class
is Cancelled?
We will hold class outdoors in most weather, including light rain.
The class course will be adjusted to accommodate these conditions.
Class WILL BE held indoors for extreme or dangerous conditions (e.g., lightning, extreme
heat or cold). Location of indoor classes to be annunced.

Procedures
Make-Up Classes
Class attendance is your responsibility.
Refunds
Refunds for Biceps, Babies & Buggies will be given if a participant
must discontinue class on the advice of her physician or midwife,
provided that a written statement is received from the physician
or midwife, or if the participant moves more than 15 miles
away from class location.
If a participant is due a refund under the above
conditions, the refund will be prorated from the date the
refund is requested, less a $15.00 cancellation fee.
