I began working
with Coach Cassandra shortly after delivering my second son
and I immediately
realized that she was the right fit for me...
She encouraged me to exercise cautiously, making sure
I never overexerted myself. She understands the rigors of
motherhood, the stresses of sleepless nights and breast-feeding,
and she brings respect and encouragement to those circumstances.
Cassandra is the perfect mix of motivating
and affirming. Through
her help, I have strengthened my core, lost my 43 pounds of
pregnancy weight, and, with her assistance and guidance, improved
my running tremendously.
Cassandra has helped
me to both meet and exceed my goals. During our first
runs together, I could barely make a 4-mile loop without stopping.
I now stand here three weeks away from running my 3rd marathon

to everyone else, with little regard for their own wellness.

After only 3 months on her program, not only did I lose all
the weight (and then some), but I toned up and strengthened
my core. She integrated strength training and circuit training,
which made me push myself hard, but was not as difficult (or
painful) as I thought it would be. She also recommended a
course of walking and provided nutritional guidance outside
of our sessions.
I can happily say that I
am now in better shape than I was before I got pregnant...
and I plan to continue working with her to maintain what I've
achieved.

It got to the point where I frequently felt too tired to go exercise. That, coupled with my love for junk food and a good beer, I was destined for trouble. I never seemed to notice a few pounds gained every year, but after 12 years out of college, I was over 30 pounds heavier and 3 sizes larger. I knew I needed to do something, but still couldn't motivate to get myself to the gym.
Then a friend asked me to join her in an outdoor exercise class called "Summer Butt Blaster", and I was introduced to Coach Cassandra. I loved the class and Cassandra's training style and at that point decided that personal training was for me. Cassandra also connected me with a great training partner from the class so that we could sign up for dual sessions to save a little money. Each week, sometimes twice a week, we continued to work out with Cassandra. I signed up for her other winter and summer workout classes and continued with the personal training as well.
Cassandra does an outstanding job in developing a wide variety of exercises and provides clear motivation for leading a healthier lifestyle. After the workouts, I would leave feeling great and that would encourage me to eat healthier. I never went on a diet, but instead started eating smaller portions and added more fruits and vegetables to my diet. In addition, I made simple substitution of trying to eat whole wheat instead of foods with white flour. I never gave up the junk food and beer, but just ate/drank it less frequently.
One year later, the combination of working out with Cassandra and simple changes in my diet, I've taken those 30 pounds back off. Along with losing the weight and feeling great, I got to go shopping for a brand new wardrobe! I owe it all to Cassandra and I know that I never could have done it without her. Working
with Coach Cassandra has been a positive and very valuable
experience for me...
Her holistic approach to training is extremely
rare. She takes all factors
of my life into account when planning my training each week.
We talk about nutrition and my other physical activity during
the week, but we also discuss topics like my energy level,
stress and health concerns. The changes I have seen in my
physical appearance, including the loss of 25 lbs, are a direct
result of our training. Coach Cassandra is also a great motivator.
At the end of each session with her, I feel stronger and more

Due to injuries
I sustained earlier in my life...
I have always feared injuring myself again
and in the process avoided weight bearing exercises, further
weakening the muscles surrounding my injured joints. A friend
of mine introduced me to Cassandra after seeing her for an
injury she had recently sustained. After being in constant
pain from her injury, Cassandra helped her regain strength
and get back in shape. She is doing the same for me. Cassandra
is highly intuitive, knows a great deal about physiology,
nutrition and what it is like to live with a chronic injury.
Through our one on one sessions,
I have gained strength, confidence and have a renewed interest
in exercise and all the benefits it offers. In addition to
our time training, I occasionally receive educational and
