Don’t get caught in
a rut this winter, Winter Butt Blaster is back!
It may be cold outside but that should be the only reason
to wear bulky winter clothes. The objective of this 10-week
program is to inspire a consistent workout routine through
the winter months and jumpstart your resolution to lose weight!
Winter Butt Blaster will provide you with a weekly indoor
circuit class designed to be a fun, fast-paced, challenging
full-body workout. It may also serve as an incentive-driven
Weight Loss Challenge (WLC) if you choose to opt into the
contest. EMPOWER yourself to be in better shape — you’ll
find motivation, camaraderie, and heart pumping fun with others
just like you.
Class Schedule
There will be two, 5-week sessions, beginning on:

Classes are every Saturday
and are one-hour in duration. Class starts promptly at 7:00am
and will move non-stop until 7:45am. There will be a 5-minute
cool down, weigh-in and Q&A with the Coach.

Optional Weight Loss Challenge:

(The $10 entry fee for the weight loss challenge will go directly
into a pool as a monetary prize for the “biggest loser”)
Program Details
& Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect?
Arrive at the Center 5-10 minutes early to be ready to start
promptly at 7am. The Coach will lead class through a 10-12
minute warm up. After the warm-up, the participants will be
randomly divided into three groups. Each group will be assigned
a workout station. Every workout station will have 4-5 exercises.
Participants will be given a set time to complete all exercises
within the station, in addition to a dynamic, power drill
before rotating to the next workout station. This tempo and
intensity will continue for approximately 30-minutes.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned exerciser,
participants are encouraged to work at their own pace. A complete
workout is guaranteed for every fitness level.
What is the Weight
Loss Challenge?
In addition to the weekly workouts, the challenge will serve
as an outlet of support and accountability to help motivate
yourself and others to lose
weight.
What is the incentive,
and how will the Weight Loss Challenge be managed?
If you choose to enroll in the Challenge, you are encouraged
to sign up for BOTH sessions to make a full 10-week weight
loss commitment. The entry fee to the Challenge is $10 per
session, $20 for 10-weeks. The money collected for the Challenge
will serve as a monetary prize at the end
of each session.
There will be a mandatory private weigh-in at
the END of EACH class for only those enrolled in the Challenge.
A progress graph of results will be posted each week to gage
the success of yourself and fellow teammates. (Percentage
of body weight will be posted, not actual weight). The “biggest
loser” will be determined at the END of the 10th week
by the greatest percentage of body weight lost of all WLC
participants. (You must be enrolled in the Challenge to be
eligible for the prizes).
Prizes will be awarded to a Challenger at the
end of the first 5-week session that is in the lead having
lost the greatest percentage of body weight:
• 20% of
the monetary prize pool,
• $50 gift certificate to Fleet Feet Stores, and
• A one-hour personal training session with Coach Jen
THE “biggest loser” is the Challenger
with the greatest percentage of weight lost after the 10-week
period. The “biggest loser” prizes:
• 70% of the monetary prize pool,
• A gift certificate from Fleet Feet worth $90 to use
toward a new pair of sneakers, plus
• A one-hour personal training session with Coach Jen
Prize at the end of the 10-week period for the
SECOND “biggest loser”:
• 10% of the monetary prize pool, plus
• A one-hour personal training session with Coach Jen.
What if I miss
a class on Saturday morning?
Class attendance is your responsibility. No make-up classes
will be offered.
If you are participating in the Weight Loss Challenge, you
will weigh-in at the next class.
Is there parking
at The Coaching Center?
Yes, there is a parking lot at the Coaching Center, and parking
is free on Saturday mornings. The Coaching Center is conveniently
located at 2400 N. Sheffield Ave. (corner of Sheffield and
Fullerton). The Fullerton El stop is across the street.
How much interaction
do I get with the trainer?
Each group circuit class will end with a short question and
answer period; participants are encouraged to direct questions
to the Coach and to each other. This class is about camaraderie
and fun, we are all in this together and we all want to see
each other succeed!
